This attack followed a pattern of regular shelling by Russian troops on Kherson since their withdrawal from the city late last year.

Ukrainian authorities have reported successfully disabling 10 of 17 drones launched by Russian forces overnight.

Notably, three of these drones struck civilian infrastructure in the western Lviv region, resulting in minor damage.

Additionally, Russian forces launched six S-300 missiles targeting areas in the eastern Donetsk region and the southern Kherson region.

In a counteroffensive, Ukrainian drones conducted dozens of attacks on Russian targets in the Sea of Azov and in Russian-annexed Crimea.

These strikes led to the temporary closure of the Crimean Bridge, a vital supply route for Russian military forces stationed on the peninsula and in the southern regions of Ukraine.

Witnesses reported explosions caused by Ukrainian drones in the Kerch, Theodosia, and New Crimea regions. Independent websites have stated that Ukraine deployed over 40 drones in these operations.
