The two politicians were set to discuss a range of bilateral and European issues, including regional security and Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
Earlier in the day, the Polish prime minister held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
During the meeting, Tusk said he wanted Poland and France "to cooperate intensively on the three pillars of security: energy, food and defence."
Tusk and his Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski traveled to the French capital on Monday in a diplomatic effort to renew ties as part of the Weimar Triangle group, which also includes Germany, according to the foreign ministry in Warsaw.
The Polish foreign minister met with his French counterpart Stéphane Séjourné and Germany's Annalena Baerbock in Paris.
The talks between the Polish, French and German foreign ministers focused on military and industrial cooperation between the three countries and continued support for Ukraine as it struggles to fight off Russia's invasion, reporters were told.
Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza has reported that Tusk and Sikorski are aiming to rebuild Warsaw's relations with Paris and Berlin after years of friction under the previous right-wing government.
After his meeting with Macron in Paris, the Polish prime minister arrived in Berlin on Monday afternoon to speak with Scholz, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Poland, France and Germany together form what is known as the Weimar Triangle. The group was set up by the three countries in the early 1990s to help overcome divisions in Europe by bringing Poland into the European Union and NATO.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II.
Monday is day 719 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
