The debats are to focus on Ukraine's most urgent needs, including defending itself against Russian aggression, the financing and coordination of aid to Kiev, as well as preparations for the NATO summit in Washington in July.

A discussion on defence spending, the fight against disinformation and cooperation with Indo-Pacific countries is also expected.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken are both expected to take part in the meeting in Prague, alongside Poland's Foreign Affairs Minister Radosław Sikorski.

As part of the summit, the ministers will meet at Prague Castle with President Petr Pavel, former head of the NATO Military Committee.

The Czech Senate is also expected to hold a debate to mark the 75th anniversary of the Alliance.
