"Last night, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed more than 50 Shaheds in the Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhia, Zhytomyr and Kharkiv regions."

- the Ukrainian president detailed on Telegram.

"This daily terror from the air can be stopped. However, this requires the unity of partners and our ability to carry out long-range strikes. This will help save the lives of Ukrainians every day. Next week, we will continue working on this with our partners in Ramstein"

- Zelenskyy announced.

The highest-level meeting of the Ramstein Group will be held on October 12 at the American military base in Germany. It will be attended by, among others, US President Joe Biden, who will pay a state visit to Germany on October 10-13.

The Ramstein Group, which was established in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, is an alliance of more than 50 countries and organizations. It has developed a mechanism for regular military assistance to Ukraine in the form of weapons supplies, training of soldiers and equipment repairs. Meetings in this format at various levels are held monthly.

Russia first illegally invaded Ukraine in 2014 - and has occupied a significant part of the country ever since. On February 24, 2022, Moscow took things further - mounting an unlawful and unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and starting the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.

Numerous reports from a variety of sources state that since the full-scale invasion started, Russians have committed countless war crimes in Ukraine - breaking the Geneva convention on a daily basis and killing tens of thousands of civilians.

The list of Kremlin's transgressions reported includes regular attacks on non-military targets, murdering and torturing war prisoners as well as civilians en masse, kidnapping thousands of Ukrainian children into Russia or using internationally forbidden weapons.

Sunday is day 956 of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
