Warsaw's theatres have joined together in organizing a charity concert in aid of Ukraine. The show on Saturday evening brings together artists from near on 30 of the capital's stages at the Club of the Warsaw Garrison Command.

"We are all united for Ukraine and everyone is looking for ways to help. Some theatres are sending their whole ensembles and some artists have prepared special performances. Certainly there will be a lot of people on the stage," Dawid Szurmiej, who directs the show told Polish Radio's IAR information agency.

Funds collected during the event will go towards the effort spearheaded by PAH Polish Humanitarian Action for civillians in Ukraine.

The concert is also being streamed on the social media site of Warsaw's Jewish Theatre.

Among the participants are both commercial and state-run theatres, e.g. Ateneum, Baj, Capitol, Dramatyczny, IMKA, Guliwer puppet theatre, Studio, Polonia, Ochota, Rampa, the National Theatre and the National Opera, and the concert features artists such as Ewa Błaszczyk, Kacper Kuszewski, Justyna Sieńczyłło, Paweł Deląg, Olena Leonenko-Głowacka, Andrzej Seweryn, Katarzyna Żak, Krzysztof Tyniec, Dorota Stalińska, Michał Żebrowski, Natalia Sikora and Tomasz Karolak, to name a few
