The successful mission led to the safe return of Polish citizens from Lebanon, officials said.
The flight, which traveled from Beirut to Rzeszów near the Polish-Ukrainian border, carried a total of 179 passengers, including 134 Ukrainians, 16 Poles, nine Lithuanians and six Czechs.
This marks the third Ukrainian evacuation effort of this kind since the beginning of September, with the Ukrainian foreign ministry expressing gratitude to Poland and SkyUp Airlines for their support and assistance.
Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szejna confirmed that 16 of the around 500 Poles currently in Lebanon have been flown back home.
In a comment to Polish state news agency PAP, Szejna said that this humanitarian effort arises from cooperation with allies, including Ukraine, and is not executed unilaterally but is coordinated collectively.
Amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Szejna reiterated the Polish foreign ministry's appeal to citizens to avoid traveling to Israel, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 55 people have died and 156 have been injured as a result of Israeli attacks in Lebanon.
