Polish President Andrzej Duda supported the idea of associated partnership in the Three Seas Initiative for Montenegro, emphasizing that the country, as a non-EU member, is eligible for such cooperation.

Discussions during the Warsaw meeting also focused on Montenegro's integration with the European Union, with Podgorica aiming to join the bloc by 2028 after 15 years as a candidate country--a goal strongly backed by Poland.

The Three Seas Initiative summit in April in Warsaw will include a business forum featuring companies from the region and cooperating countries.

US President Donald Trump is also expected to receive an invitation to attend the event.

Jakov Milatović, the President of Montenegro, also met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his visit to Warsaw.
