The reading was in line with an earlier estimate by the country’s labour ministry.
There were around 877,100 people without jobs at the end of June, down from 906,000 a month earlier, according to the Central Statistical Office.
Deputy Labour and Social Policy Minister Stanisław Szwed told reporters earlier this month that the 5.3 percent jobless figure for June marked the lowest unemployment rate in the country in 28 years.
Poland's unemployment rate is expected to fall to 5.1 percent at the end of 2020 under a set of budget targets adopted by the country's government last month.
