Poland’s Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak and the Czech Republic's Jana Černochová are also expected to talk about military cooperation between the two countries and further Western support for Ukraine as it battles Russia's invasion, according to the Polish defence ministry.

Other topics up for discussion include joint work as part of the NATO alliance, the 27-nation European Union and the regional Visegrad Group (V4), which brings together Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Błaszczak and Černochová will also focus on ways to strengthen ties between the Polish and Czech defence industries amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine, officials told reporters.
