Since February last year when Russia invaded its neighbour, almost 15.4 million people have crossed into Poland from Ukraine.
Meanwhile, over 13.6 million people have left Poland for Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion, including over 22,000 on Saturday.
It is estimated that Poland is currently home to around 1.5 million Ukrainians after many who had fled Russia's invasion moved on to other countries or decided to return to Ukraine.
Saturday is day 563 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
