The second round of voting for mayors, aldermen and other local government officials will be held on April 21.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk told reporters in mid-January that a crucial vote to choose city mayors and provincial and county administration leaders would be held on April 7, with a runoff two weeks later.
“I hope that April will prove to be a good month for Poland's local government activists,” he said at the time.
The ballot will test the government's support just six months after a coalition of pro-European parties led by Tusk won parliamentary elections, news agencies reported.
