The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) has announced that negotiations have concluded and a contract has been signed for the construction of the Polish Pavilion, the centerpiece of the country's showcase at the World Expo 2025 event.
Poland's participation in World Expo 2025, the world's largest economic and promotional event, aims to enhance its international image, forge new economic connections, and promote Polish science, culture, and tourism, officials have said.
The project is overseen by the Ministry of Development and Technology, with PAIH responsible for its execution.
Polish Pavilion
The Polish Pavilion, spanning nearly 1,000 square meters, will serve as the country's main exhibition space.
The architectural design, created by Poland's Alicja Kubicka and Spain's Borja Martínez of Interplay Architects, features extensive use of wood and is inspired by the theme of Polish creativity and innovation.
Despite initial delays in selecting a contractor, the construction of the Polish Pavilion will be carried out by a consortium of companies including Nagashima, JSC Corporation and Finasi, PAIH said.
