The discussions are set to focus on supporting Ukraine and enhancing defense capabilities.

The jubilee summit, marking the 75th anniversary of the Atlantic Alliance, will commence on Tuesday evening and continue through Thursday. Leaders from all 32 member states, along with representatives from NATO partner countries, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, will be in attendance.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has announced that the summit will include decisions on granting Ukraine another significant support package to aid its defense against the Russian invasion. Plans also include measures for NATO to take over coordination of a large portion of the aid being provided to Ukraine.

Poland’s Duda stated that during the summit, he will urge allies to increase defense spending to levels comparable to those during the Cold War. Additionally, he plans to address the expansion of NATO's strategic infrastructure.
