This figure is half of the total aid promised by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to flood-affected countries, a plan she discussed with leaders from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria in Wrocław.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said after the meeting that each country will present a recovery plan for the flooded areas to the Commission and noted that reaching an agreement on the EU aid took 45 minutes.
