The annual "Free November" initiative is now in its 13th year.
As in previous years, tourists can explore attractions such as the Royal Castle in Warsaw and the historic Wawel complex in the southern city of Kraków.

Other sites open to the public for free this month include Warsaw's Wilanów Palace and the Royal Łazienki Museum in the Polish capital.

The annual campaign aims to broaden access to museums and cultural venues across the country in response to public demand, the Polish culture ministry has said.
