Russian soldiers raping women in Ukraine: report

The first cases of sexual violence against women by Russian soldiers have been reported in Ukraine, according to a Polish website.

The tysol.pl website cited Ukraine's rubryka.com as saying that "there are currently 11 confirmed cases of rape by the Russian occupiers in Kherson" in the south of Ukraine.

Only five of the victims survived, tysol.pl reported.

Women and girls in the southern Ukrainian city were being urged not to leave their homes, it said.
