The Belarusian journalist Kaciaryna Andrejeva has been sentenced to a further 8 years in imprison - on top of the 2 years she has already served.

Kaciaryna Andrejeva, a journalist working for Bielsat, has been sentenced in Belarus for a further 8 years. This is in addition to the 2 years she has already served.

On 18 February 2021 she was sentenced to 2 years for online reporting on the November 2020 protests.

Now she has been sentenced for a further 8 years, this time for "treason".
