Poland is in 50th place, down from 47th last year, according to the imd.org website.
Denmark topped the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking for the first time in the league table’s 34-year history.
“Denmark has played extremely aggressively on the sustainability front and benefits from being a small country in the European market,” said Prof. Arturo Bris, director of the IMD World Competitiveness Center, which creates the ranking.
The 2022 league table measured the competitiveness of 63 economies by analyzing 163 pieces of hard data reflecting economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) said on its website.
