Spearheaded by the Warsaw Enterprise Institute, the new office aims to promote joint development projects and strengthen Polish-Ukrainian relations, exploring potential partnerships between Polish and Ukrainian companies for reconstruction projects.
According to Adam Eberhardt, director of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute's Center for Strategic Studies, similar offices will operate in Kyiv, Lutsk, Vinnytsia and other Ukrainian cities.
"We want to be present on the ground to support Polish entrepreneurs in establishing contacts and to monitor investment needs," Eberhardt said.
"We are creating a dialogue platform between Polish and Ukrainian businesses, and involving development institutions, as well as national and local authorities," he added.

Jadwiga Emilewicz, the Polish government's representative for Polish-Ukrainian Development Cooperation, said: "Relations between Poland and Ukraine have never been as strong as they are today. It would be a sin not to seize this moment. We want to demonstrate our eagerness and determination to implement joint projects."
To ensure the security of Polish investors keen to participate in the postwar reconstruction of Ukraine, the Polish Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy is developing tools to safeguard their operations in the country.
Emilewicz said: "We are preparing insurance and credit instruments for Polish companies. This will enable us to be present in this process to an extent that reflects the potential of the Polish economy."
A seminar held in Lviv on Monday, attended by Emilewicz, also saw participation from Maksym Kozytskyy, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, and representatives from Polish and Ukrainian businesses interested in working together.

"For me, leadership is paramount. Poland once again proves to be a leader, not just in international forums supporting Ukraine, but also in our country's reconstruction," said Kozytskyy.
Emilewicz's visit to Lutsk, in northwestern Ukraine, will include paying respects to the victims of the Volhynia Massacres, a tragic event in Polish-Ukrainian history during World War II.
