Polish GDP grew 3.9 percent in the third quarter.
Finance Minister Tadeusz Kościński said on Friday that the Polish economy had grown 4 percent over the whole of last year.
“This is still one of the best results among EU countries," he added.
The Central Statistical Office is expected to give full final-quarter data on February 28.
Polish Development Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz said on Thursday that Poland faced a "slight” economic slowdown this year. She added that she expected GDP growth to remain above 3 percent.
Meanwhile, the European Commission on Thursday maintained its forecasts that the Polish economy would grow 3.3 percent both this year and next.
The EU’s executive also estimated that Poland’s GDP expanded 4.0 percent in 2019.
