Meanwhile, average wages in Poland's corporate sector in June increased by 11.9 percent compared with the same month a year earlier, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
The average gross Polish monthly wage last month was PLN 7,335.20 (EUR 1,650, USD 1,850), according to the statistical office.
The figures are for companies with more than nine employees.
Family and Social Policy Minister Marlena Maląg this month estimated that Poland's unemployment rate was 5 percent in June, down from 5.1 percent in May.
There were around 784,900 people without jobs across the nation at the end of June, down by 17,300 from a month earlier, according to the government.
