Meanwhile, the minimum hourly rate is set to go up to PLN 27.70 (EUR 6.20, USD 6.85) effective January 1 and PLN 28.10 (EUR 6.30, USD 7.00) as of July 1, 2024, officials said.
The country’s minimum monthly wage rose to PLN 3,490 at the start of this year, from PLN 3,010 at the end of 2022.
Meanwhile, the minimum hourly rate in Poland is currently set at PLN 22.80, up from PLN 19.60 at the end of last year.
The average gross Polish monthly wage in June was PLN PLN 7,335.20, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency announced last month.
