From Tuesday to Thursday, the resort town of Karpacz in southwestern Poland will host the 33rd annual Economic Forum, an event dedicated to shaping the future of business, politics and society under the theme "A Time for New Leaders: Shaping the Future Together."

The Karpacz Economic Forum is considered the largest platform in Central and Eastern Europe for discussions not only about security and economic development but also the many contemporary challenges and multiple crises.

This year's gathering highlights the role of exceptional women who are changing the face of the modern world and cutting new paths for future generations.

One of the keynote speakers, Nicole Alexander, a lecturer at New York University and former global marketing head of Meta (formerly Facebook), is regarded as a leading figure in global marketing.

Alexander will discuss the role of social media in personal and corporate branding.

Social media has become a powerful communication tool, and its skillful use can determine the success or failure of marketing initiatives.

She will share her experiences managing brands in the virtual world, demonstrating how a well-crafted online presence can lay the foundation for lasting success.

Also speaking at the forum will be Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, the Polish minister of labor, family and social policy. Her talk will address issues of social and labor policy, highlighting her influence in government.

The forum will also feature panels with notable Polish athletes, including Izabela Monika Bełcik, a former volleyball player who was named the Volleyball Player of the Decade by the Polish Volleyball League, and Kamila Lićwinko, a high jumper and Olympian who founded the Academy of Young Masters after her athletic career.

Additionally, authors will discuss their works that spotlight inspiring women.

Karolina Wasielewska will lead a discussion on her book on women in football, which examines the increasing but under-recognized role of women in the game.

The discussion will cover overcoming stereotypes and fighting for gender equality in sports.

Another debate will explore the role of women in local governance based on Magdalena Szefernaker's book Governance on Heels, which delves into the experiences of female mayors and presidents, showcasing the significant value women bring to local communities despite numerous challenges.

The forum will address critical issues concerning regional and international stability. A panel significant for Polish local governments will delve into "European Funds: How to Effectively Leverage Opportunities for Rapid Development?"

Recognizing the gravity of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, another essential discussion titled "Strengthening NATO's Frontline States" will examine strategic support for these countries.

Moreover, one of the most compelling discussions, "Will Anyone be Held Accountable for the War in Ukraine?" will explore the broader implications of the conflict, focusing on the struggle for rule of law on the international stage.
