Jurek Owsiak, head of Poland’s largest charity WOŚP, voiced strong support for prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek after her personal data was publicly exposed, calling it a shocking violation of privacy: "This is beyond comprehension."
He condemned the wave of hate and threats she is facing, drawing parallels to his own experiences. Ahead of the most recent WOŚP charity event in late January, similar threats against him were reported to the police, leading to charges against the suspects.
Owsiak warns of threats and expresses support for Ewa Wrzosek
"This kind of fear can shake up your entire daily life. It brings terrifying thoughts about your loved ones, friends, and colleagues. A ruthless machine fuels this atmosphere, relentlessly pushing forward through news, programs, and commentary - without any restraint or regard for anyone," Owsiak wrote.
He assured Wrzosek of his unwavering support, urging her to stand firm. "I sincerely wish you strength and encourage you to hold your ground - following the law from start to finish - without letting anyone get away with breaking it against you," he concluded.

Data leak controversy follows prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek’s questioning of PiS associate
On Thursday, Ewa Wrzosek informed the Polish state news agency PAP that she had filed a complaint with the National Prosecutor’s Office over the public disclosure of her personal data.
A day earlier, journalist Dorota Kania, linked to pro-PiS media, posted Wrzosek’s old passport application on platform X, revealing details such as her past addresses, parents’ names, and national ID number.
The data leak surfaced just days after Wrzosek had questioned Barbara Skrzypek, a longtime associate of PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński, in a corruption case.
Skrzypek died suddenly of heart attack on March 15, three days after being questioned, leading PiS politicians, including Kaczyński, to suggest a connection between the questioning and her death.
Amid escalating threats against her, Wrzosek requested official protection on Tuesday, citing "countless criminal threats and incitement to violence," including a wave of online hate allegedly fueled by public figures and politicians.
On Wednesday, she confirmed that security measures had been granted.
