A group of Polish football officials including manager Jerzy Brzęczek attended the draw, which the European football governing body held in Amsterdam on Tuesday.
European nations have been arranged into four Leagues, A, B, C and D, based on their UEFA ranking.
Poland will play the Netherlands, Italy and Bosnia-and-Herzegovina at home and away in Group 1 of the top League A between September and November.

The winner of the group will advance to the Nations League finals in June next year along with the winners of three other League A groups, while the loser will be relegated to League B.
The Nations League is UEFA’s newest national-team competition that is now in its second edition.
The competition is designed to enable teams to play against those that are similarly ranked and also offers an alternative path for teams to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
Portugal won the first edition of the Nations League last year.

Group 1: Netherlands, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland
Group 2: England, Belgium, Denmark, Iceland
Group 3: Portugal, France, Sweden, Croatia
Group 4: Switzerland, Spain, Ukraine, Germany
