Tennis: Poland's Hubert Hurkacz into Miami Open final

Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz has advanced to the finals of the Miami Open tennis tournament in the US state of Florida.

The 24-year-old on Sunday faces off against Italy's Jannik Sinner as he battles for overall victory. If the Pole wins, it will be the biggest success of his career.

Hurkacz defeated Russia's Andrey Rublev 6-3, 6-4 in their men's singles semi-final on Friday.

A day earlier, Hurkacz beat second-seeded Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinal.

Meanwhile, Poland’s Iga Świątek and Bethanie Mattek-Sands of the United States have crashed out of the women's doubles in Miami after losing in the semifinals on Friday to Japanese duo Shuko Aoyama and Ena Shibahara.
