At a ceremony in Warsaw, Duda praised Poland’s athletes, who he said lived up to and exceeded fans' expectations at the Tokyo Olympics.
Polish athletes brought home 14 medals, four gold, five silver and five bronze, from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Summer Games, which took place from July 23 to August 8, after being postponed from last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The medal tally marked Team Poland's best Olympic performance this century, placing it 17th in the overall table in Tokyo.
"I would like to thank you for all the medals, but I also want to thank all members of the Olympic family for their commitment," Duda said on Monday.
"Please accept my heartfelt congratulations," he added.
A total of 210 athletes competed for Poland in the summer's Olympics in Japan.
Poland was represented by athletes competing in 28 Olympic sports, including more than 60 track-and-field contestants.
The Polish Olympic team for Tokyo also included a contingent of more than 200 coaches, doctors, physiotherapists and other personnel.
Duda said at Monday's Olympic Gala event in Warsaw he hoped the next summer Olympics, in 2024 in Paris, would be held as planned as the world returns to "normal" after the coronavirus pandemic.
Poland won 11 medals, two gold, three silver and six bronze, at the previous summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016.
At the London Olympics in 2012, Team Poland scooped 10 medals, three gold, two silver and five bronze.
