On the last day of competition in the southern German city, Poland's Pia Skrzyszowska won the gold in the women's 100 metres hurdles, and also earned a silver as a member of the Polish women's 4x100 metres relay team.
The Polish team of Skrzyszowska, Anna Kiełbasińska, Marika Popowicz-Drapała and Ewa Swoboda set a national record of 42.61 seconds to finish runners-up behind winners Germany.
Meanwhile, the Polish men's 4x100 metres relay team of Adrian Brzeziński, Przemysław Słowikowski, Patryk Wykrota and Dominik Kopeć set a national record of 38.15 seconds to finish third behind Britain and France for a surprise bronze medal.
A day earlier, Poland’s Katarzyna Zdziebło took the silver in the women’s 20 km race walk, and countrywoman Anna Wielgosz captured the bronze in the women's 800 metres.
The Polish women’s 4x400 metres relay team of Anna Kiełbasińska, Iga Baumgart-Witan, Justyna Święty-Ersetic and Natalia Kaczmarek won another silver for the country on Saturday.
On Friday, Poland’s Sofia Ennaoui took the bronze in the women’s 1500 metres.
On Thursday, Wojciech Nowicki claimed the gold in the men’s hammer throw, and countrywoman Adrianna Sułek won silver in the women’s heptathlon.
On Wednesday, Poland's Natalia Kaczmarek won silver in the women's 400m, while countrywoman Anna Kiełbasińska earned the bronze.
Ewa Różańska earned another silver for Poland in the women's hammer throw that day.
Earlier in the championships, Poland's Aleksandra Lisowska was crowned European champion in the women’s marathon, and also took home the bronze as a member of the Polish marathon team, together with Angelika Mach and Monika Jackiewicz.
The 2022 European Athletics Championships took place in Munich from August 15 to 21.
The competition was held as part of the multi-sport Munich 2022 European Championships, which featured nine Olympic sports: athletics, beach volleyball, canoe sprint, cycling, gymnastics, rowing, sport climbing, table tennis, and triathlon.
Poland won a total of 39 medals, eight gold, 16 silver and 15 bronze, at the multi-sport jamboree, and finished eighth in the overall standings of the Munich 2022 European Championships, which began on August 11 and wrapped up on Sunday.
Host nation Germany finished top of the Munich 2022 European Championships standings, with a total of 26 medals, including 20 golds, while Britain finished second in the medals table, with 19 gold medals and 24 podium finishes.
