Medals were awarded to both amateur and professional skaters, offering qualification chances for the national Winter Youth Games, which will be held in Poland's southeastern Podkarpackie region in late January.

"Definitely Polish people like figure skating although we do not have many indoor figure skating ice rinks," Magdalena Tascher, the coordinator of the 2023 Walley Winter Cup, told Radio Poland’s Danuta Isler.
"We actually see that people are much more interested in figure skating after the pandemic ... the sport is getting more and more popular," Tascher added.
