Klatt and Wiśniewska finished sixth, while Naja and Puławska were seventh in the semifinals, with both teams moving on to the B final.

The race was won by Germany's Lena Roehlings and Pauline Jagsch, followed by Belgium's Hermien Peters and Lize Broekx in second place, and Hungary's Tamara Csipes and Alida Dora Gazso in third.

Klatt and Wiśniewska led for much of the race but lost ground midway, while Naja and Puławska struggled throughout, finishing 2.63 seconds behind the leaders.

This outcome is surprising given that both Polish teams were strong contenders, with Klatt and Wiśniewska having been world silver medalists last year, and Naja and Puławska holding Olympic silver from Tokyo.
