The Polish world No. 2, who is seeking her first title in Dubai, dispatched Yastremska 7-5, 6-0 in the third round of the women’s singles on Wednesday.
The match lasted 1 hour and 32 minutes, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The second-seeded Polish player, who had a bye in the first round and defeated Belarusian Victoria Azarenka in the round of 32, will now face Russian Mirra Andreeva for a place in the last four.
Last year, Świątek reached the semifinals in Dubai. Two years ago, she lost the championship match to Czech player Barbora Krejčiková.
Meanwhile, Poland's 28th-ranked Magdalena Fręch and 37th-ranked Magda Linette both crashed out of the tournament in the first round, with Linette falling to Yastremska 3-6, 5-7.
The 2025 Dubai Open runs until Saturday.
