Swoboda finished ahead of the field with a time of 11.09 seconds to set a new European Games record at the Silesian Stadium in the southern Polish city of Chorzów, state news agency PAP reported.
Earlier in the day, Poland's Natalia Kaczmarek won the silver in the women's 400m, finishing in 50.34.
Poland's track-and-field federation has selected a team of 46 athletes to compete for medals at the 3rd European Games, which opened on Wednesday and run until July 2.
