On the last day of competition, Poland’s Katarzyna Wasick earned bronze in the women's 50m freestyle, clocking 23.37 seconds to finish behind Americans Gretchen Walsh and Kate Douglass.
Walsh set a new world record with a time of 22.83, while Douglass secured silver at 23.05.
Earlier in the championships, Poland's Kamil Sieradzki, Jakub Majerski, Ksawery Masiuk and Kacper Stokowski claimed bronze in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay, with Stokowski adding another in the men's 100m backstroke.
Krzysztof Chmielewski contributed a bronze in the men's 200m butterfly, while Piotr Ludwiczak, Sieradzki, Kornelia Fiedkiewicz and Wasick secured third place in the mixed 4x50m freestyle relay.
Sieradzki, Stokowski and Wasick each collected two medals during the event, held at Budapest's Duna Arena from December 10 to 15.
At previous short-course championships, Poland won two medals—a silver and a bronze—in Melbourne in 2022, and two—a gold and a bronze—in Abu Dhabi in 2021.
