The competition, held from February 23 to 27 on Lake Pyhäjärvi in southwestern Finland, saw Estonia's Rasmus Maalinn claim the title.
A total of 121 racers from 15 countries, including 30 from Poland, took part, according to the Polish Yachting Association.
Four other Polish competitors made the top 10: Tomasz Zakrzewski finished fourth, Maciej Żarnowski was seventh, Robert Graczyk came in ninth, and Jacek Radzki placed 10th, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
Poland’s 12-time iceboating world champion Karol Jabłoński, who was on track for a podium finish, damaged his iceboat before the final day and ended up 17th overall, the Polish Yachting Association said.
Earlier this year, Łukasz Zakrzewski won silver and Graczyk took the bronze at the world championships on Lake Winnebago in the midwestern US state of Wisconsin. Burczyński and Tomasz Zakrzewski placed fourth and fifth respectively.
Last year, Polish iceboaters swept all three medals at the European championships in Pärnu, Estonia, with Burczyński winning gold.
