The concert is part of a charity marathon started in March to raise funds for Ukrainian children displaced by Russia's invasion.
DakhaBrakha is a well-known Ukrainian folk quartet that was founded in 2004 at the Kyiv Centre of Contemporary Art by avant-garde theatre director Vladyslav Troitskyi, according to organizers.
The band combines "fundamental elements of sound and soul" with "Ukrainian ethnic chaos" to "create a world of unexpected new music," organizers said.
"Now their performance is a hymn to our defenders and to the Ukrainian people, who stand courageously and restrain the evil" of Russian aggression, according to a statement promoting the event.
All the proceeds from the concert will go to Ukraine's Masha Foundation, which works to help Ukrainian children who have been forced out of their homes.
The Live for Life charity concert series is run by the Kyiv-based H2D concert agency in association with the Ukrainian culture ministry and local and international partners.
