Johnny Depp's film career has received a new lease of life following his victory in court with his ex Amber Heard. Now the star is set to direct for the second time in his career - and the screenplay has been written by Polish writers.
The film will be based on the life of the canonical Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920). The script, written by Jerzy Kromolowski (see IMDB) and Mary Olson Kromolowski (IMDB), was inspired by the play by Dennis MacIntyre "Modigliani".
The legendary actor Al Pacino will co-produce the film.
