FOCUS::Polish culture for Ukraine

From the first days of the Russian offensive in Ukraine on February 24th 2022,  Poland declared readiness to help Ukraine protect its cultural heritage, national archives and works of art amid the  invasion.

Along with all forms of assisatnce being organised here in Poland from fund raising concerts to free performaces or free entry to museums for refugees from Ukraine, Polish cultural institutions  have voiced their vehement protest against the Russian invasion.

Poland's culture institutions, museums, archives, libraries as well numerous art colleges continued to support Ukriane in protecting its national heritage, many institutions in Poland were reaching out to help protect relics threatened by the armed operations in Ukraine .

Poland  hosted numerous events with the proceeds meant to help Ukrainian people and  institutions of culture and  many of these performances were held with the participation of Ukrianian artists.
