A Polish-British co-production with a script by Poland’s Bartek Bartosik and British writer and filmmaker Naqqash Khalid, Good Boy is a thriller centred on a 19-year-old criminal.

The young protagonist is kidnapped and forced into rehabilitation by a married couple determined to make him a "good boy." However, all he wants to do is escape.

Footage from the film was recently shown at the American Film Market in Las Vegas, which concluded last Sunday.

The cinematography for Good Boy is handled by Poland’s Michał Dymek, known for his work on Jerzy Skolimowski’s latest feature EO.

Skolimowski, the internationally acclaimed veteran Polish director, and Ewa Piastowska are the film's co-producers on the Polish side, while Jeremy Thomas is its British co-producer.

The trio previously worked together on EO, which won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for an Oscar.

Komasa, 43, gained international recognition following the success of his 2019 film Corpus Christi, which was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.
