Ever wondered why Van Gogh cut off his ear? You can find the answer instantly with DailyArt, a simple app that delivers daily insights into one of the world’s most remarkable works of art.
Available in 23 languages, the Polish project stood out among 1,800 other apps, earning Stańska the top spot in the "Cultural Impact" category, beating 12 other finalists.
The app boasts over 800,000 active monthly users and originated 12 years ago from Stańska’s passion for making art accessible. She collaborated with programmer friends to handle the technical aspects, as she revealed.
In addition to the app, users can explore DailyArt Magazine, which offers in-depth articles about artists and their masterpieces, and DailyArt Shop, an online marketplace for purchasing art.
DailyArt’s collection includes over 3,800 works from 600 museums and private collections, featuring renowned institutions such as the Louvre in Paris, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and the J.
