Steczkowska will represent Poland with her song Gaja, competing against 14 other countries. Only the top 10 acts from the semifinal will advance to the grand final, scheduled for May 17.
The veteran singer has collaborated with Gromee - a former Polish Eurovision contestant and music producer - on a remixed version of Gaja. The new track has been released on Steczkowska’s official YouTube channel, according to Polish broadcaster RMF FM.
As reported by Radio ZET, the semifinal will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. local time. Performing early in the evening - before 10:00 p.m. - is considered a strategic advantage, as it typically attracts a larger television audience.
Poland last performed second in the semifinal in 2016, when Michał Szpak advanced to the final after earning fourth place in the public vote.
