Polish cinematographer Dariusz Wolski up for an Oscar

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced a list of nominees for this year's Oscars.

Among the candidates is Polish cinematographer Dariusz Wolski for his work on News of the World, directed by Paul Greengrass and starring Tom Hanks.

The Oscar nominations list also includes Quo Vadis, Aida? in the Best International Feature Film category. The movie is an entry by Bosnia and Herzegovina but is an international project, with Poland among its nine co-producers.
