The concert includes the Adagietto from Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki's opera Paradise Lost, Antonín Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 From the New World, and Chopin’s Piano Concerto in E minor, op. 11.

The tour’s itinerary comprises the cities of Shenzhen, Beijing, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Shanghai.

The soloist in all the concerts is Sa Chen, a Chinese pianist who won fourth place at the 14th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2000 and was a member of that competition’s jury in 2021.

In Hangzhou, Shenzhen and Beijing, Sa Chen will perform Chopin’s E minor Concerto, while in the remaining venues he will play the composer’s Concerto in F minor.

The Warsaw Philharmonic will be conducted during the tour by Jacek Kaspszyk, who served as the orchestra’s music director from 2013 to 2019.
