"American AH-64 Apache helicopters have landed" at Powidz Air Base in west-central Poland, Mariusz Błaszczak said in a tweet on Wednesday.
"This is another sign of allied support in the face of Russia's aggressive actions," he added.
The announcement came after media outlets reported a day earlier that the United States would move some of its F-35 fighter jets and Apache attack helicopters based in Europe to the Baltic states and Poland amid the Ukraine crisis.
