Under the agreement, which was signed in Warsaw last week, Poland’s ombudsman for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), Adam Abramowicz, and his Ukrainian counterpart, Roman Waschuk, pledged to look for ways to bring Ukrainian goods to Polish seaports after Ukraine was cut off from maritime trade.

“It's our duty as Polish entrepreneurs to support our Ukrainian partners," Abramowicz said.

"The key thing now is to keep trade between Poland and Ukraine going … to keep companies in Ukraine working  and selling their goods,” he added.
