Eventually India has evacuated over 20,000 of its citizens from war-hit Ukraine under Operation Ganga. Among them were over 4000 of Indian students who were flown into Poland, and then onboard 17 flights from Rzeszow airport to their homeland, with the help of India's ambassador to Poland and Lithuania, H.E. Nagma Mallick.
