Poles advised to be careful with fireworks on New Year's Eve

Polish police and medical services have urged the public to be cautious with fireworks during New Year's Eve celebrations to avoid getting hurt.

People have also been asked to be mindful of the needs of war-traumatized Ukrainian refugees living in Poland and to take extra care of pets, which might be frightened by fireworks during end-of-year festivities.
