The US envoy, Mark Brzezinski, whose late father Zbigniew served as national security adviser under President Jimmy Carter, said the ceremony commemorated the work of the Brzezinski family in their hometown.
“As for Polish-American friendly relations, our ties have never been stronger," Mark Brzezinski said.
"The war in Ukraine has appeared to be a great call that Poland and the US heeded united," he added.
