Completion of the repair and renovation works was announced by the president of Bumar-Łabędy, Edyta Szymańska, Polish Radio Information Agency reported on Saturday morning. It was the fourth Leopard tank of Ukraine's Armed Forces renovated by the company in less than 10 months.

The task was handled by a special service hub that has been operating at the Gliwice-based company since July last year. Two Leopard 2A4 tanks used by the Ukrainians were then delivered to the plant back then - and in just two months, Polish specialists restored the machines damaged at the front to full combat efficiency, enabling their quick return to Ukraine.

Further repairs of Ukraine's tanks were carried out in a similarly efficient manner, including the latest one, just announced by the company's president.

Russia first illegally invaded Ukraine in 2014 - and has occupied a significant part of the country ever since. On February 24, 2022, Moscow took things further mounting an unlawful and unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine - which is the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.

The United Nations reports state that since the full-scale invasion started, Russians have committed numerous war crimes in Ukraine, often attacking non-military targets and killing tens of thousands of civilians in the process.

Saturday is day 766 of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
