The politicians attended the opening of a major exhibition of European paintings from a Ukrainian collection at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
The exhibition, entitled European Art Cabinet, showcases 37 European artworks from the private collection of Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko, which forms the core of the National Museum of Arts in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
In the wake of extensive damage to the museum during Russian attacks on Kyiv in the autumn of 2022, part of the Khanenko collection was loaned to the Royal Castle for safe-keeping and conservation.
