Mateusz Morawiecki made the statement at the re-launch of the Warsaw office of the US think tank Atlantic Council on Tuesday, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
Response to Russia’s assault on Ukraine
In a letter read out at the ceremony, Morawiecki said that close cooperation between NATO, the United States and Poland was the right response to Russia’s assault on Ukraine.
He added that more transatlantic collaboration was needed to help Poland’s war-torn eastern neighbour.

Meanwhile, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz told the gathering that “the world needs transatlanticism” and that Poland “is the most pro-Atlantic country in Europe.”
Przydacz said: “The Russian aggression on Ukraine is without any doubt the most dangerous security crisis of the 21st century.”
He added: “From the very first day of the war, Poland, just like the United States, has advocated for the European Union and like-minded countries to impose and subsequently strengthen multiple sanctions on Russia until it ends the invasion and withdraws all its military forces from Ukraine.”
He stressed: “This is achievable when we speak in one voice.”
Speakers at the re-launch of the Atlantic Council’s Warsaw office also included Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, the US ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski, and two of his predecessors, Daniel Fried and Georgette Mosbacher, the PAP news agency reported.
Tuesday was day 83 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
